I recently went to Ruby's for our office Christmas party. I hadn't been there in a few years so I was a little disappointed in the choice, I kept saying I do not want to go to a glorified burger place but I was happy with the changes they have made to the menu. I ordered a blue moon on draft and the chicken bella. Meals all come with the choice of two sides or one side and the salad bar. If you go to Ruby's you have to get the salad bar! The croutons are so amazing, which sounds weird but if you eat one you'll see what I'm talking about. My chicken bella was delicious, it's a grilled chicken breast covered in a creamy parmesan sauce with mushrooms and artichoke. I also had the roasted spaghetti squash as my other side with was very yummy. For desert I shared a chocolate lava cake with one of my coworkers and it was good. The "lava" wasn't as runny as I like but it's chocolate, you can't go wrong. All around I have to say we had a great time and our food was good. Our server did a great job keeping our crazy group in line and the manager came around to make sure we were having a good time which is always nice!

I just had the maple bourbon salmon, which was amazing with the cheesy grits. The waitress, Nicole S was great too!! I was celebrating great week at work a couple of days early tonight, which is why I came in to Ruby Tuesday tonight. I recommend the maple bourbon salmon, because it's truly yummy and falls apart easily with a fork!

I used to really like this place, but the quality and portions continue to go down while prices go up. They are making an utterly misguided attempt to go more "upscale", but I don't care how pretty your menus are if your food isn't good! On a recent visit, I tried their new chicken tenders--description sounded great, but I was disappointed when the dish came out and it contained four of the smallest, most pitiful chicken tenders I have ever seen. Each one was just slightly larger than my thumb! On top of that, they were bland and soft. For two adults and a child, the lunch tab was about $50, which is crazy for what we got. I would downgrade to one star, but we did have a really nice and helpful server. In any case, not planning to return.

Never going back to this restaurant. poor service, made rude comments under their breath. Had bad experience. Felt like manager and waitress did not care about us, or make the effort to take good care of us. Neglected our table and forgot about us, then did not make the effort to make it right. Manager did not care. Then, food was burnt. Not a good experience.

Food was maybe a step above cafeteria food. Maybe it was because we went on a Thursday night. Definitely not worth the price.

Long, long, ago, I promised myself I would never, ever go to Ruby Tuesday's again, due to food poisoning at a location in New Jersey. I'm going to be honest, I was scared to come back, even though it was more than 8 years ago. I walked inside, got a table, with a group of friends I was with. Ordered chips.... a drink.... So far so good, I was finally starting to relax, I ordered pasta and some broccoli cheddar soup (brings back memories...) The pasta was good, the seating was comfortable, but the service was a little slower than I would wish... and knowing it was late at night, being crowded is not an excuse (maybe being tired is though). Only other thing, the chips they bring out are great, don't get me wrong, but they come out in extremely small portions. Although they are unlimited, or 'bottomless' as I should say, I really didn't like having to wait 5 minutes for my hungry group and I to get maybe 25 more chips.... (and that's not a lot either!). The food was good though, and I was stuffed, knowing I had already ate dinner... and that I ordered chips (which I had refilled at least 5 times...), soup, and a huge plate of pasta.

Poor food poor service and way overpriced. I have eaten here a few times and can safely say it has gotten progressively worse let's start with the wait staff it took our waitress a good 10 minutes which if the place was busy I'd understand, it wasn't we were the only ones in her section add that to we found her hair in our food I felt like throwing up that was the 1st visit. On the second visit we got her again slightly better service until she started flirting with me it got to the point she rubbed her boobs on my arm, now I'm normally fine with some flirting it's not that big of a deal to me but come on past a certain point it just becomes uncomfortable that would be bad enough and then we got the food I ordered some broccoli cheddar soup and some mini burgers the soup made me gag holy god it tasted rancid and the minis I've had better burgers from McDonald's for Christ sake when I informed our waitress she didn't get the manager she didn't offer to have it remade or bring me something else she shrugged and gave me cheddar biscuits that I'm pretty sure we're for another table. What the hell. In what possible universe does someone think any of this is ok? I then proceeded to ask for the manager to which she asked me why while twirling her hair I responded please just get the manager to which she said he wasn't there. So yeah that 2nd trip alone should have been enough to convince me never to eat there again, but I'm an idiot. The 3rd and last visit I went by myself it was around 530 6 and I had just gotten off work so I go in thinking I'll order buffalo wings or something. I got a different waiter and he was fairly civil the food wasn't anything to write home about but it was ok it's all going just fine until the end a different server who was apparently off the clock comes up and starts cussing me out apparently I screwed my previous waitress over the tip, I left 15 percent and thought her service was worth a lot less so I try to talk to him he's making harassing remarks calling me all sorts of swears and while this is going on I just want to leave my server comes up and to his credit apologizes offers to get the manager so I spend the next 10 minutes talking to the manager who tells me he isn't going to fire the mouthy server because when he cussed me out he wasn't on the clock. He offers my a coupon I tell him I won't be back and I won't. No one should eat here! The servers are terrible terrible people and suck at their jobs if your looking for similar food go to ocharleys or any where else just don't go here!

There was time when a trip to a Ruby Tuesdays was some kind of penance for not being able to think of anywhere better and/or boredom with other family restaurant offerings. A terrible experience 8 or 9 years ago had us convinced we would never darken any of their doorways ever again. Let's just say "a food horror never acknowledged or rectified by the manager" and leave it at that shall we? Then, in 2009, my wife had one of her regular 'genealogy' forays into the southern wilds of Kentucky and came back to inform me how her and her Mom had stayed at a hotel where the only local eating option was... a Ruby Tuesdays. And how impressed she was by their extensive 'unlimited salad bar' offering. As she is a vegetarian I can see how this would appeal to her sensibilities and taste buds, so we decided to check out the location in Alexandria to see if it met with similar adoration. It did. And we've been back several times since. Mainly for that salad bar. Occasionally, one or both of us will marry it to an entree, but more often than not the salad bar will take precedence. It has varied over the years, not anywhere near as extensive now as it used to be and on our most recent visit we noticed they had made the serving plates a lot smaller... but hey, it's all-you-can-eat - and healthy - so no worries. For a buck more you can add one of their slider options, called "minis" - a pair of tiny beef, chicken, veggie or turkey burgers with a side of tasty fries which seems like quite unbeatable value. Service used to be spotty and somewhat indifferent but its very evident that recently they've either chosen staff more wisely or given better training because there's a much more professional attitude at play now. Nice and attentive and very friendly. The menu offerings and surroundings have changed to reflect an above-average experience too. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere absent a lot of that ephemera junk and 'noise' that litters many other family-style restaurants. Subdued lighting does make one squint a little bit at the menu, but once your eyes have become accustomed you will find offerings to suit most any palate and with prices that aren't too outrageous. Their beer and cocktail menus are quite extensive too which makes it a decent venue for a business meeting or casual date. Summing up then it's not an absolutely 'must-do' chain, but its a million-zillion miles away from the 'must-avoid-at-all-costs' destination it once was. Someone behind the scenes is making a significant change to its fortunes. A solid, somewhat dependable 3 stars it is then!

My family instituted a rule long ago when the kids were little: no one is allowed to order chicken fingers and french fries. No one is allowed to dumb down their taste buds. This has turned the family into a critiquing group of foodies. My oldest daughter is the usual enforcer of this rule. But since she was gone...we tried a place that we'd normally pass by. A secondary rule to the one noted above is 'no corporate chain restaurants'. I felt a little sense of breaking a taboo walking into a place that's a nationwide chain and serves up plenty of chicken fingers. You know, this place wasn't so bad. Honest food for an honey price. You're not going to be surprised (or disappointed) by this food. It is what it is. That's why I gave it 4 stars. It succeeds in being what it sets out to be. I split a rack of ribs with my 10 year old daughter. She liked them. A bit too sweet for her tastes and mine. Under the fructose was a lot of bland but the ribs were meaty. The cole slaw I passed on. It looked a bit brown in the lighting but tasted fine. Brown puts me off. We hit this place on a Friday at 7:30 or so. No wait. No crowd. That put me off. What do folks know, I asked myself. But it was just fine. No obnoxious server, no obnoxious junk hanging on the wall. The bar was a bit obnoxious. It looked like Cold Spring-middle-aged-divorcee-hook-up-spot. That's fine. Where else they gonna go? Over all, this place was three star AOK but since they exceed at being what they aim to be they get four stars.

Not a great eperience today. The salad was good, but the fixings were low and it took forever for someone to restock. My fiance had the Prime Cheddar Burger which he said was dry and I had the meatloaf which was not the best. We left wishing we went to Wendy's like I originally suggested.

Rolling Stones made the name famous. Service and Food keeps people coming back. Did this chain start in side shopping malls? Not a bad thing but I just never connect malls with food. Okay maybe the food court. But not sit down white table cloth take an order kind of restaurant. Any way a friend of ours had some coupons she wanted to use so we met her there. 8p on a Saturday night no wait lots of open tables. Server was quick to bring menus and take a drink order. We asked for some time to relax and socialize we had no where else to go. I was thinking salad bar because they have a great one. We ordered a sampler appetizer which was very good. Almost full at this point we went on to order salad steak and baked potato all very good. The service was paced nicely and the server did a Great job. We'll go back just not any time soon.

The only thing I ever get from Ruby Tuesday's is the salad bar and the mini burgers. That's it. The mini burgers are servicable, the fries are good, and the salad bar is really a great salad bar, Plus the price for this combo is only $1 more than the salad bar alone.

The food is moderate to good. Decent value especially if you eating healthy. Their salad bar has many items on it, all it's missing is a soup if the day. Service the past 5-6 times I've been there has been horrible. The last time I went the place was empty and it still took my party 2 hours to eat and get out, no appetizers or dessert. So if you have some time to kill and don't mind dying of thirst while you wait 30-45 mins for you food, by all means Ruby Tuesdays is the place for you. Again, my family and I went there to see if it was just that night. Same bad service, horrible servers, food came out wrong and cold. Don't waste your time or money with this place. If you're looking for an endless salad bar your better off going to Frisch's Big Boy, they have the same items plus soups on theirs.

We visited Ruby Tuesday's yesterday afternoon (Friday) around 5 p.m. Service was excellent, but the entree my husband ordered took about 25 minutes to arrive. I ordered the salad bar and it was great. They even have edamame beans on it...great. Everything looked and tasted fresh.
